The plan was easy to follow. It was also flexible enough that life could also happen. Being a full time employee, parent, and a partner makes for a busy person. I needed a plan that would help me, but also fit into my life.

I absolutely crushed my marathon. I now appreciate a consistent movement schedule, and I also know how to honor my body’s plan when it needs to rest.

I feel so much better towards running and like I know what I’m doing. With consistency and slowing down a little bit to build paces I was able to break sun 2:30 marathon in two months of work. Which I thought was a way further off goal! The weekly check ins and good communication have been so valuable. Rebecca has been there anytime I’ve needed to switch things around, adjust, take a rest day. She’s also there to make sure I do the work!

I have really appreciated the ability to adjust my program as necessary. When you’re training on your own and life comes up, it’s easy to have an all or nothing approach. Now, when I get off track it’s really helpful to have the reassurance that things will be okay with some work and adjustment. Becca helped my half marathon PR time go down three minutes from 1:27:36 to 1:24:36. I’m not sore like I normally am after a race I recovered very quickly and I didn’t get injured. Normally I take a break after a race or stop working out with the coach for a couple of months but I feel like I get real value in continuing training with Becca. Not only did I get faster this last training cycle I definitely got stronger.
